A Family Affair

Junior nationals is always filled with excitement surrounding the cattle and contests, but the underlining theme in every junior national since the creation of the event is Family! From packing all the way to breaking down the calves, everything at junior nationals happens with and because of family! Here are a few sweet moments we captured this week at Shorthorn/Maine/Chi junior nationals!
Buck-Family A father daughter pair at their best! Jirl and daughter Bailey Buck. We are sure there is never a dull moment around these two.
ChamberlainLooks like good conversation among the Chamberlain family. Dad Clark, daughters Maci and Becca with friend Taylor Pinkerton wait in the make-up ring on Maine-Anjou Showmanship day.
Loudon It takes a team … Tim and Karen Loudon encourage their son, Tyler, during the Maine-Anjou showmanship.
PeiperFather-daughter trio, Sara, Katie and Steve Peiper, working in the barns as a team.
WalkerThere is nothing wrong with a little family competition!! Siblings Whitney and Mason Walker go head-to-head in the Maine-Anjou Showmanship.
Thomson Bushy Park Farms general manager Cory Thomsen giving his son Kai a little pep talk before his first time showing at the National Junior Maine-Anjou Show.
