Welcome Tylee to The Pulse/Stock Show U!

Sullivan Supply – Hillsboro,Texas, is excited to announce the addition of Tylee Williams to our team as Manager of The Pulse and Stock Show University – Southern Region. Tylee is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she competed on the National Champion Livestock Judging Team. A previous intern for The Pulse, Tylee was the perfect fit for this new position at Sullivan Supply. Tylee will be working out of our Texas location, focusing on the building the Stock Show University program and expanding Pulse coverage in our southern region. A previous member of the National Junior Angus Association Board of Directors and a Texas native, we are excited to see Tylee’s skill set in action when she begins work in April! Join us in welcoming Tylee back to the Sullivan Supply team.

Internship & Scholarship Opportunities from TOCA and ARC – Deadline TODAY!

Gardner & Gardner Communications manages the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association and the Agricultural Relations Council. They have some really great internship and scholarship opportunities and the deadlines are quickly approaching!
Agricultural Relations Council
ARC Scholarship – The organization, through its foundation, will grant one, $1,500 scholarship for the 2018-2019 school year. More details and the application can be found here: http://www.agrelationscouncil.org/arc-scholarship/. The application deadline is March 15.
Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association
TOCA Internship – For the first time, TOCA is offering a marketing communications internship. Hosted by Project EverGreen in Mentor, Ohio, the paid internship is worth a total of $5,000 – $4,000 stipend and $1,000 to be used to attend the annual professional development meeting of TOCA – to be held May 1-3 in Cincinnati, Ohio. TOCA Scholarships – TOCA Board of Directors will award up to two $2,500, fall semester scholarships (2018-2019 academic-year) to undergraduate college student(s) pursuing a career in green industry communications. To qualify, students must major or minor in technical communications or a green industry related field such as horticulture, plant sciences, botany, agronomy, plant pathology, etc. The applicant also must demonstrate an interest in using this course of study in the field of communications.
