This summer we will have 2 Stock Show University Interns! Our second and final Stock Show U intern to announce is Kiley Elder! Kiley is the daughter of Bart and Dianna Elder of Ackworth, Iowa. She is currently a sophomore at Black Hawk East College in Kewanee, Illionois and will be graduating in May. This coming fall Kylie plans to transfer to Texas Tech University where she will continue her livestock judging career and attain a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish.
Kiley grew up on a small cow calf operation and developed a strong passion for showing cattle at a young age. She has always enjoyed being out in the barn working on cattle with her family. Kiley spent her summers traveling to cattle shows and competing in many Jr. Nationals, fifteen different ones to be exact. She took a particular liking to both the Maine and Simmental breeds and is a retired director on the National Junior Maine-Anjou Board of Directors. Kiley believes in giving back to the industry that has helped develop her passion for both cattle and youth and is honored to be working with Stock Show University this summer.
